Hahah, I had that problem late 2018 when I switched to the block editor. It took me a couple months to figure out how to switch back to the classic wp, and hopefully i won’t need to upgrade. Ever.

You wrote this on August 25 and on August 22, I found they removed the classic editor. I tried to get it back. You will not notice it until you go to write a post. If you ask tech support they will lie you to and try to pass off another Block as the Classic Editor. You need to use the Classic Editor Plug in. I can’t use because I don’t have a business plan. I can’t say if the Plugin is any good, but if you do have a business plan I would try it out. So I wonder if you have written a post on your blog after August 25 and you were still able to use the Classical Editor? I would argue if some users can have the Classical Editor then I want to use it as well. I did sent them many messages demanding it back or I would quit my blog, but in the end I could bear to destroy something I worked hard on and am proud of because Word Press is being Evil.
